Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a seasoned Application Support & Production Operations professional with extensive experience in banking applications and payment platforms in Singapore.

You will handle functional and technical support, incident management, SLA adherence, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure secure, reliable payment processing.

This role requires hands-on container, Unix/Linux, scripting, API and ISO 20022 familiarity to maintain optimal operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking application support.
• Experience in international banking or financial services environment preferred.
• Strong expertise in payment platforms or similar payment applications.
• Hands-on experience managing container-based deployments and operations.
• Solid understanding of payment messaging standards.
• Good knowledge of ISO 20022.
• Strong Unix/Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Container platform management.
• Shell scripting (Bash, Korn Shell, or equivalent).
• Messaging middleware technologies.
• APIs and integration technologies.
• Strong No SQL & SQL skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting capabilities to proactively detect issues.

Job description

Looking for profile with extensive experience in Application Support & Production Operations for the Payment platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical support for the payment platform.
• Investigate and resolve production incidents and service disruptions.
• Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout incident management activities.
• Manage containerised application operations, including start, stop, restart, and configuration through automation tools.
• Manage platform upgrades, deployments, and version tracking. Customer Credit Transfers
• Financial Institution Transfers
• Account Statements and Reconciliation Messages
• ISO 20022 messages (payment, cash management, and customer payment messages)
• Work closely with operational and processing teams on incident resolution and system enhancements.
• Investigate payment failures, rejections, duplicates, delays, and reconciliation issues.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting in Unix/Linux environments.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting capabilities to proactively detect application, infrastructure, and payment-processing issues.

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in banking application support.
• Experience within an international banking or financial services environment is highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in payment platforms or similar payment applications.
