Job summary

DDN is seeking a Senior Counsel, APAC to be based in Singapore and support the company's commercial contracting activity across Asia Pacific, with a focus on Greater China. The role requires fluency in Chinese and English to draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of agreements.

The successful candidate will partner with regional Sales, Finance, and Product leadership, localize templates for Chinese-language agreements, and advise on regulatory considerations in the APAC region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; JD/LLB/LLM or equivalent legal degree.
• Admitted to practice law in Singapore or an equivalent jurisdiction.
• 6+ years of commercial contracting experience at a global software/SaaS company.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English; Cantonese is a plus.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary commercial counsel for APAC customers and partners, especially Greater China.
• Draft, review, and negotiate SaaS terms, enterprise licenses, channel and OEM agreements.
• Localize global playbooks, templates, and clause libraries for Chinese-language agreements.
• Partner with Sales, Finance, Revenue, and Product leadership to align processes.
• Advise on local legal, regulatory, and cultural considerations in APAC.
• Assist with real estate, vendor, and HR matters in the region.
• Coordinate with outside counsel on regional corporate and compliance matters.
• Drive contract cycle time, accuracy, and reporting to leadership.
