Job summary

DDN is seeking a Senior Counsel, APAC based in Singapore to support commercial contracting across Asia Pacific, with a focus on Greater China. You will draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, and work with Sales and channel teams to implement templates and playbooks.

The role requires fluency in Mandarin and English, and you will localize contracts for Chinese-language and regional use while advising on regulatory considerations in the APAC region.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in commercial contracting roles, preferably in enterprise software or SaaS.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken).
• Experience negotiating with customers and partners in Greater China.
• Licensed to practice law in Singapore or an equivalent jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary commercial counsel for APAC customers and partners, focusing on Greater China.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements (SaaS, enterprise licenses, channel/OEM, NDAs).
• Localize global contracting playbooks, templates, and clause libraries for Chinese-language use.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Revenue Recognition, and Product teams to align contracting with GTM and pricing models.
• Advise on local legal, regulatory, and business practice considerations in China and APAC.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and global Legal on regional corporate and compliance matters.
