Job summary

Wise is seeking a Senior Analytics Manager to partner with financial crime product teams and guide data-driven growth decisions while strengthening controls. You will collaborate with product managers, data scientists, engineers and operations to translate insights into action.

In the APAC Risk & Controls team, you will balance risk mitigation with user experience, shaping how data informs anti-financial crime strategies across Wise’s global platform.

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative skills from statistics, maths, physics, engineering, or related field.
• Experience in financial crime: typologies and alert investigations balancing risk and customer experience.
• 9–10+ years in data analytics in financial crime or risk analytics; 4–5+ years leading others.
• Experience with SQL and Python/R; strong communication to translate business problems into analytics.
• Ability to frame business problems with minimal supervision and translate complex data into simple models.

Responsibilities

• Expose data to Wise product teams in a meaningful, actionable way with minimal analyst assistance.
• Own, track and report key metrics for product and operational teams each quarter.
• Conduct research, prepare reports and visualisations to support stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data scientists to detect and mitigate financial crime.
• Build scalable risk-management and customer-experience frameworks.
• Drive discovery by scoping opportunities and proposing features, rules and models.
