Job summary

Wise is seeking a Product Analyst who loves data and mission-driven impact to partner with our financial crime product teams and fuel growth while countering fraud. You’ll work with product managers, designers and engineers to translate insights into real customer improvements and to help scale risk management and onboarding processes.

You will expose vast datasets to product teams, own key metrics, and support stakeholders with research and visualisations.

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative skills with a background in statistics, maths, physics, engineering, or related field.
• Experience with SQL and Python/R.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions.
• Ability to structure business problems with minimal supervision and prioritise independently; simplify complex systems into clear models.
• Hustler mentality with the ability to extend work beyond analysis.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Superset, PowerBI, Tableau) and storytelling with data.
• 3–4 years of data analysis experience in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

• Expose data to product teams in a meaningful, actionable way without friction or analyst assistance.
• Own and track key metrics for the product team; keep them accountable quarterly.
• Support stakeholders with research, reports, and visualisations.
• Collaborate with data scientists on identifying fraud patterns for ML models.
• Build framework for managing risk and customer experience at scale.
• Drive discovery by scoping opportunities to reduce financial crime with insights.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Scientists and Operations teams.
