Job summary

NHG Health in Singapore seeks a Senior Assistant Manager in the Innovation & Improvement Office to lead data-driven improvement initiatives. You will partner with stakeholders across the hospital to interpret results and present insights using data science, optimisation and machine learning techniques.

The role requires collaboration with doctors, nurses and operations staff to drive continuous improvement and align department goals with NHG's strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or related quantitative disciplines.
• Minimum of 2–3 years in service industry/health-care related areas preferred.
• Strong acumen for data analysis and proficiency with utilising various analytical and modelling tools.
• Analytical with strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work with incomplete or imperfect data.
• Good writing ability, to translate data insights into well-structured reports and presentations.
• Intermediate to advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel preferred.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, capable of engaging effectively with different internal and external stakeholders.
• Independent, dynamic, self-motivated and result oriented.

Responsibilities

• Data & Analytics: Perform in-depth analysis, formulate insights and provide recommendations that support project outcomes.
• Project Management: Assist in projects from conception to completion, supporting timely delivery.
• KPI Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs with cross-functional teams to monitor improvement initiatives.
• Reporting: Generate and present regular reports on progress, insights and impact of projects.
• Supporting continuous improvement: Collaborate with clinicians and staff to foster innovation and improvement.
• Align department goals with hospital business goals.
• Provide secretariat and administrative support to the department and NHG.
• Support corporate activities at NHG cluster level.
