Job summary

Reap seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer to own end-to-end data domains, from source to dashboards, enabling permanent answers to business questions.

You will drive pricing and cost analyses, forecasting, client deep-dives, and revenue proposals in close partnership with stakeholders, engineers, and product managers. The role centers on building scalable analytics for commercial impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in analytics engineering or analytics roles, owning a business domain’s data, metrics and reporting.
• Strong analytical judgment to turn ambiguous questions into structured, decision-ready answers.
• Stakeholder partner with commercial/finance or risk teams and credible in discussions.
• Expert SQL with dimensional modeling and semantic/metrics layer experience.
• Hands-on with Snowflake and Metabase; validation and reconciliation of financial data.
• Clear documentation and ability to train non-technical stakeholders to self-serve.
• Proven ability to build pricing, profitability, or growth analyses influencing strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own your domains end to end from data to dashboard to stakeholder conversations.
• Deliver value-added analysis: pricing, cost-saving, forecasting, client deep-dives, proposals.
• Identify and quantify revenue opportunities and growth levers and translate into recommendations.
• Partner with business teams as embedded decision support in meetings.
• Turn recurring questions into permanent answers via dashboards or documentation.
• Design and maintain vetted domain views and semantic definitions read by all paths.
• Build and own Metabase dashboards; ensure numbers are validated and reconciled.
• Lead enablement sessions and provide Slack support for self-serve queries.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering on ingestion and modeling; with Product on priorities.
