Job summary

Realtek Singapore Private Limited is seeking a senior software architect to define architecture, subsystem decomposition, and functional allocation for AIoT SoC platforms. You will write SRS, architecture documents, interface specs, and ensure traceability across projects.

Lead architectural reviews, collaborate with hardware teams, and mentor engineers through verification and delivery, while optimizing performance and power in real-time environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of embedded software development in real-time environments (bare-metal/RTOS).
• Strong C/C++ and low-level embedded development expertise; assembly a plus.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M/A and/or RISC-V architectures.
• Proven ability to define software architecture and system-level designs.
• Solid RTOS knowledge, including scheduling, synchronization, and inter-task communication.

Responsibilities

• Define software architecture, subsystem decomposition, and functional allocation for AIoT SoC platforms.
• Develop and maintain SRS, architecture documents, interface specs, and traceability.
• Translate evolving requirements into actionable software requirements and designs.
• Lead architectural reviews and provide technical leadership through implementation & validation.
• Collaborate across global teams to align customer use cases with architecture.
• Mentor engineers and drive software performance, memory, boot-time, and power optimizations.
