Job summary

Realtek Singapore Private Limited is seeking a senior embedded firmware engineer to design, implement, and maintain firmware for AiOT SoC platforms. You will collaborate with algorithm teams to optimize signal processing and system latency on real-time embedded targets.

You will lead debugging across hardware and software bring-up, validate with MATLAB/Python tools, mentor engineers, and drive best practices from design through production release in a small, agile team.

Qualifications

• Degree in EE/CE/CS or related field.
• 10+ years of embedded firmware experience in real-time systems.
• Strong C/C++ proficiency for embedded targets.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M and/or RISC-V processors.
• Knowledge of DSP and embedded debugging techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain firmware for AiOT SoC platforms.
• Collaborate with algorithm teams to optimize signal processing on embedded platforms.
• Optimize firmware performance, memory footprint, power consumption, and latency.
• Support hardware bring-up, FPGA validation, silicon verification, and system integration.
• Develop tests and diagnostic tools to validate firmware functionality and reliability.
• Investigate and resolve firmware and hardware interaction issues.
• Work with hardware, software, validation, and product teams to meet requirements and schedules.
• Contribute to firmware coding standards, documentation, and best practices.
