Job summary

Ambiq is seeking a Senior SoC Architect to lead architectural definitions for peripheral subsystems in our Singapore development office. The role focuses on audio, imaging, display interfaces, and high-/low-speed links within sub-threshold power budgets for wearables and IoT devices.

You will author architectural specs, guide RTL/verification, and collaborate with physical design and software teams to enable robust, energy-efficient silicon solutions.

Qualifications

• Authorship of architectural specifications for SoCs, ASICs, or silicon IP.
• 8+ years in SoC or ASIC architecture and design for wearable/IoT/mobile-class products.
• Experience architecting SoC connections to external interfaces: audio, imaging, display, high-/low-speed links.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture specifications for SoC peripheral subsystems and off-die interfaces.
• Debug at RTL and gate level with design team.
• Collaborate with physical design to ensure robust implementation.
• Perform power and performance trade-off analyses across full dataflow.
• Lead IP evaluation, selection, and integration specifications.
• Provide post-silicon support for mass production.
