Job summary

ASM in Singapore seeks a Senior Software Engineer to drive software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. You will lead investigations, influence system architecture, and advance AI-enabled development to improve reliability, safety, and performance across global platforms.

Based in Singapore, you will collaborate with field teams and QA to reproduce field issues, deploy rapid fixes, and communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in CS or related with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong C++ and/or C# development background.
• Solid multi-threaded application design and debugging skills.
• Experience with software specifications, APIs, and docs.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled development is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze subsystem interactions for end-to-end platform understanding.
• Drive RCCA using logs, captures, and system-level troubleshooting.
• Design, evaluate, and improve multi-threaded architectures.
• Develop and maintain software for semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot real-time control software issues.
• Serve as escalation point for field engineers globally.
• Collaborate with QA to improve regression tests.
• Draft software specs, design documents, and test plans.
• Present technical findings and data-driven insights.
