Job summary

OCBC Group in Singapore is seeking an AVP AI Validation Specialist to validate the bank’s critical AI solutions, ensuring fit-for-purpose and AI governance compliance. The role conducts hands-on testing, identifies risks, and provides recommendations to support safe and responsible use of AI across the bank.

Reporting to the Group Data Office, you will contribute to developing validation methodologies, monitor evolving AI technologies, and coordinate with Risk, Technology, Internal Audit, and

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in AI/Governance disciplines.
• 5–8 years’ experience in model validation and testing within a bank or regulated environment.
• Ability to apply model risk management to Generative AI and agentic AI systems.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks; MAS knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model Validation of AI Solutions: validate traditional ML models and GenAI systems across lifecycle; design validation frameworks and test approaches.
• Enablement and Standards: develop validation methodologies, standards, and reusable testing assets; collaborate with Risk, Technology, Internal Audit, and business units.
