Job summary

Land Transport Authority (LTA) Singapore is seeking a senior/executive data engineer for the Transport AI Programme. You will design and maintain data infrastructure enabling AI models, spanning real-time sensor feeds, transit data, and road infrastructure.

Work with AI software developers, data scientists, and infrastructure engineers to ensure data quality, governance, and availability for AI development and production use. Prior experience in government/critical infrastructure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/Analytics with 3–6 years of data engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills are essential.
• Hands-on experience with modern data pipelines and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines from diverse sources.
• Develop data models, catalogs, and feature stores for AI workflows.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, and governance across the platform.
• Collaborate with AI/infra teams to deliver production data products.
• Monitor production pipelines and drive continuous improvements.
