Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Specialist Field Engineer for Storage to design architectures for complex, multi-tenant storage solutions and to troubleshoot end-to-end storage paths from applications to the cluster. You will collaborate with Storage product and engineering teams to shape features based on real workloads and customer feedback.

You will lead customer workshops, proofs of concept, and technical overviews, traveling as needed.

Qualifications

B.S. in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
7+ years building or operating large-scale storage systems.
Strong knowledge of NFS (v3/v4) and S3-compatible storage.
Hands-on with distributed/parallel file systems (VAST, WEKA, Lustre, Spectrum Scale).
Deep understanding of Kubernetes storage (CSI drivers, PVs, PVCs, StorageClasses).

Responsibilities

Design storage architecture for complex customers (shared filesystems, object storage, caching, cross-region data).
Troubleshoot from the application's I/O pattern down to the storage cluster.
Identify product gaps and drive fixes with engineering as a Storage team member.
Lead customer technical overviews, proofs of concept, and workshops; travel as needed.
