Job summary

GIC, a leading global long-term investor, is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to own the agent runtime architecture and drive the technical direction of the AI platform. You will enable dozens of teams to run hundreds of agents reliably at enterprise scale, shaping distributed systems and memory layers across gateway, IAM, memory, and observability.

You will design durable execution, orchestrate multi-step workflows, and embed production-readiness from day one, collaborating with SRE and platform

Qualifications

Must Have: 8+ years in software or platform engineering with AI/ML infra experience.
Deep distributed-systems expertise in state management, fault tolerance, and concurrency.
Production agentic systems experience with multi-step workflows and non-deterministic behavior.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and technical direction for the agent runtime and related distributed systems.
Operate agentic workflows at scale with reliability and performance.
Collaborate with SRE and platform teams to embed resilience and observability patterns.
Evaluate and extend agent frameworks for portability and stability.
Design memory and state layers for long-term agent learning and continuity.
Contribute to the early-stage buildout of a new AI platform with production-readiness.
Mentor engineers and uphold high design/testing/documentation standards.
