Job summary

GIC is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join the AI Engineering team within SAT. You will design and evolve the agent runtime, scale agent workloads, and connect agents to tools and other agents.

You will work across gateway, IAM, memory, and observability, to ensure secure, observable, and production-grade platforms. You will lead architecture decisions, operate large-scale workflows, and collaborate with SRE and platform teams to embed resilience, observability, and portability across the AI

Qualifications

• Must have 8+ years in software or platform engineering with AI/ML infra at scale.
• Deep distributed-systems expertise with state management, fault tolerance, and concurrency.
• Production agentic systems experience with multi-step workflows.
• Durable execution mastery with workflow engines (Temporal preferred).
• Python production-grade services and shared libraries.
• Agent framework depth with LangGraph, CrewAI, or OpenAI Agents SDK.
• LLM integration at scale with routing, streaming and failover.
• Leadership in architecture decisions, APIs, and technical specs.
• Experience with containers, orchestration and IaC (Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform).
• AWS or other cloud platform experience (EKS, SageMaker, Lambda).

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and technical direction for the agent runtime and distributed systems.
• Operate large-scale agentic workflows with reliability and latency in mind.
• Collaborate with SRE and platform teams to embed resilience and observability.
• Evaluate and extend agent frameworks; build portable abstraction layers.
• Design memory and state layers for long-term agent learning and continuity.
• Contribute to early-stage buildout of a new AI platform with production readiness.
