Job summary

ActAI is seeking a Lead Technical Recruiter to drive priority searches across AI/ML, engineering leadership, backend, and infrastructure. You will build search strategies and talent maps, personally source and close senior candidates, and set high standards for interview calibration and candidate assessment.

You will partner with senior engineering leaders to define hiring profiles, train recruiters, and optimize the recruiting funnel so ActAI can scale with quality hires across global markets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technical recruiting, with senior engineering searches.
• Proven success sourcing and closing high-quality engineers.
• Deep familiarity with software engineering and AI/ML profiles.
• Ability to distinguish exceptional work from CV-branding.
• Experience partnering with senior engineering leaders on hiring strategy and calibration.
• Demonstrated ability to coach recruiters and improve sourcing quality.
• Strong judgement, urgency and willingness to remain hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead ActAI's highest-priority technical searches across AI/ML, engineering leadership, backend, infrastructure, web and mobile.
• Build search strategies and talent maps for scarce technical talent across global AI and engineering markets.
• Personally source, engage, assess and close senior and difficult-to-hire candidates.
• Set a high bar for technical profile assessment and CV-review fidelity.
• Partner with engineering leaders to define hiring profiles and calibrate interview standards.
• Coach technical recruiters on sourcing strategy and candidate engagement.
• Review pipeline quality and adjust strategy as needed.
• Develop repeatable recruiting practices to scale with ActAI.
