Job summary

ActAI is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to independently own difficult technical searches and hire exceptional engineering and AI talent for ActAI globally. You will lead end-to-end recruiting across AI/ML, backend, frontend, mobile and infra, building talent maps and headhunting passive candidates to fill senior roles.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience for software engineers and technical talent.
• Proven ability to independently deliver difficult technical hires via proactive headhunting.
• Ability to evaluate technical profiles beyond company, title, and keywords.
• Strong sourcing across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms, communities and networks.
• Advise hiring managers using evidence from the talent market rather than simply executing requests.
• Strong candidate management, negotiation and closing skills.
• High ownership, judgement and execution speed.

Responsibilities

• Own technical searches end-to-end across AI/ML, backend, frontend, mobile, infra and leadership.
• Build talent maps and sourcing strategies for difficult searches across AI startups and tech companies.
• Headhunt passive candidates rather than relying on inbound applications.
• Assess candidates' actual-built work and their contribution relevance to ActAI.
• Partner with engineering leaders to calibrate hiring bars and refine target profiles.
• Close senior candidates through compensation talks and competing offers.
• Use recruiting data and market feedback to improve search strategy and conversion.
