Job summary

ACTAI is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to independently own difficult technical searches and hire top engineering and AI talent globally. You will build talent maps and sourcing strategies for challenging searches across AI startups, technology companies, and technical communities.

You will headhunt passive candidates and partner with engineering leaders to calibrate hiring bars and refine interview processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recruiting experience hiring software engineers and other technical talent.
• Strong track record of independently delivering difficult technical hires through proactive headhunting.
• Good understanding of software engineering disciplines and the ability to evaluate technical profiles beyond company, title and keywords.
• Strong sourcing capability across LinkedIn and other relevant platforms, communities and networks.
• Ability to advise hiring managers using evidence from the talent market rather than simply executing requests.
• Strong candidate management, negotiation and closing skills.
• High ownership, judgement and execution speed.

Responsibilities

• Own technical searches end-to-end across AI/ML, backend, frontend, mobile, infrastructure and engineering leadership.
• Build talent maps and sourcing strategies for difficult searches across leading AI startups and tech companies.
• Headhunt high-quality passive candidates rather than relying on inbound applications.
• Assess technical profiles deeply to understand contributions and relevance to ActAI.
• Partner with engineering leaders to calibrate hiring bars and refine interview processes.
• Manage and close senior candidates through compensation discussions and offers.
• Use recruiting data and market feedback to improve pipelines and conversions.
