DV Trading LLC is building a centralized AI function. The Senior AI Engineer defines how production agent systems are built and ships reference implementations that demonstrate production patterns.

Responsibilities include setting agent standards, building reference apps, and ensuring secure, auditable AI deployments in a regulated trading environment. Collaboration with security and stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years software engineering experience.
• Production LLM-powered agent systems experience.
• Experience integrating agents with databases, APIs, and internal data sources.
• MCP and/or tool-calling experience in production.
• Security experience in regulated or sensitive-data environments.

Responsibilities

• Define firm-wide standards for agent development.
• Build reference agent applications for business teams.
• Design patterns for connecting agents to internal data sources.
• Establish security and governance requirements for AI in trading.
• Partner with Security on AI-specific controls (data access, audit, threat detection).
• Evaluate and adopt infrastructure for agent deployment and observability.
• Identify and deliver high-value AI use cases with stakeholders.
