Location: Singapore / Southeast Asia

Job Overview

We are currently partnering with a leading global trading house seeking an experienced Agri Trader/Sales & Business Development Manager to expand its trading activities in Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the trading of raw cashew, sesame, soya, and cocoa in Southeast Asia.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry buyers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Identify and capitalize on new trading opportunities within the region.
• Negotiate and execute high-value trades, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics to optimize trading strategies.
• Travel frequently for client meetings, industry events, and business development.

Requirements

• 8 + years of experience in trading agro commodities, specifically raw cashew, sesame, soya, and/or cocoa.
• Strong track record in proprietary trading and international agri-commodity exports.
• Proven ability to manage existing accounts while expanding the client base in SEA.
