Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is assisting a client in Singapore to hire a Senior Accounts Executive. The role focuses on full spectrum accounting, GST compliance, and collaboration with management and external auditors from Tuas.

Responsibilities include AP/AR, GST filings, tax coordination, GL maintenance, and audit support, using MYOB with ERP familiarity (Odoo). 5-day workweek; Salary SGD 4,500 monthly, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in full set accounting/ GST/ MYOB/ ERP/ Tax

Responsibilities

• Handle the full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including invoice checking, payment processing, approval coordination, and supplier account reconciliation.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) activities, including customer invoicing, monitoring receivables ageing, preparing Statements of Account (SOA), and following up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare and submit GST returns and other statutory reports accurately and within the required timeline.
• Assist with corporate tax preparation and coordinate with external tax consultants and auditors on related matters.
• Maintain proper and accurate general ledger (GL) records and support monthly and yearly financial closing processes.
• Prepare audit working schedules, perform account reconciliations, and provide necessary support for internal and external audit activities.
• Perform daily accounting operations using MYOB accounting software, with knowledge of Odoo ERP being an added advantage.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing accounting processes, strengthening internal controls, and assisting with system improvement projects.

Our Client, is a Singapore-based fire protection, gas detection, and control instrumentation system integrator, is inviting qualified candidates to fill the position ofSenior Accounts Executive.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Handle the full spectrum of Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including invoice checking, payment processing, approval coordination, and supplier account reconciliation.
