Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end AP, including approvals, payments, and reconciliations.
• Manage AR, invoicing, ageing, SOA, and collections.
• Prepare GST returns and other statutory filings.
• Support corporate tax computations and liaise with tax agents.
• Maintain GL entries and assist month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with external auditors.
• Use MYOB for daily accounting operations and reporting.
• Assist ERP-related activities and system improvements (Odoo).

• Salary: $3,500 - $4,500 Basic + VB

About the Company

Our client is an established Singapore-based Fire & Gas safety solutions provider, looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join its finance team. The Senior Accounts Executive will manage end-to-end accounting operations, with a strong focus on AP, AR, GST, taxation, month-end closing, and audit matters. The successful candidate should be hands-on, independent, detail-oriented, and proficient in MYOB.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice verification, approvals, payments, and supplier reconciliations.

• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, ageing reports, Statements of Account (SOA), and collection follow-ups.

• Prepare and submit GST returns and other statutory filings accurately and on time.

• Support corporate tax computations and liaise with external tax agents.

• Maintain accurate General Ledger (GL) entries and support month-end and year-end closing.

• Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents for internal and external audits.

• Liaise directly with external auditors and provide the required information and documentation.

• Maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements.

• Use MYOB for day-to-day accounting operations and reporting.

• Support ERP-related activities and system improvements; Odoo ERP experience will be an advantage.

• Assist with improving accounting processes, internal controls, and system workflows.

• Perform other finance and accounting duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Strong hands‑on experience in AP, AR, GST, taxation, and month-end closing.

• Good audit experience, including preparing audit schedules and liaising with external auditors.

• Proficient in MYOB is essential.

• Experience with ERP systems, particularly Odoo.

• Strong Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills.
