Job summary

RECRUIT NOW SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to manage end-to-end accounting operations in a hands-on, independent role at our Singapore office.

You will focus on AP, AR, GST, taxation, and month-end closing while ensuring compliance and accuracy. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency in MYOB; ERP experience with Odoo is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance
• 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience
• Strong hands-on experience in AP, AR, GST, taxation, and month-end closing
• Good audit experience, including preparing audit schedules and liaising with external auditors
• Proficient in MYOB is essential
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly Odoo
• Strong Microsoft Excel and financial reporting skills

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice verification, approvals, payments, and supplier reconciliations
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, ageing reports, Statements of Account (SOA), and collection follow-ups
• Prepare and submit GST returns and other statutory filings accurately and on time
• Support corporate tax computations and liaise with external tax agents
• Maintain accurate General Ledger (GL) entries and support month-end and year-end closing
• Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents for internal and external audits
• Liaise directly with external auditors and provide the required information and documentation
• Maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements
• Use MYOB for day-to-day accounting operations and reporting
• Support ERP-related activities and system improvements; Odoo ERP experience will be an advantage
• Assist with improving accounting processes, internal controls, and system workflows
• Perform other finance and accounting duties as required

Our client is an established Singapore-based Fire & Gas safety solutions provider, looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join its finance team. The Senior Accounts Executive will manage end-to-end accounting operations, with a strong focus on AP, AR, GST, taxation, month-end closing, and audit matters. The successful candidate should be hands-on, independent, detail-oriented, and proficient in MYOB.

Key Responsibilities
