The role focuses on closing processes, cash flow, and accurate financial reporting. You will handle month-end closings, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, audit preparation, GST submissions, and assist with annual external audits. Proficiency in Excel, MS Office and Auto Count Accounting Software is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in accounting, audit preparation, and financial reporting will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Excel, MS Office, and Auto Count.

Responsibilities

• Handle month-end closing for multiple companies.
• Manage cash flow and perform bank reconciliations.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and full sets of accounts.
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements.
• Prepare and maintain audit schedules and supporting documents.
• Coordinate and assist with annual external audits.
• Liaise with external auditors and respond to audit queries promptly.
• Prepare supporting documents, including bank reconciliations, general ledgers, invoices, and relevant financial records for audit purposes.
• Review accounting records and ensure transactions are properly recorded and supported by relevant documents.
• Assist in preparing year-end closing entries and audit adjustments.
• Follow up on audit findings and outstanding audit requirements.
• Prepare and submit GST returns and ensure compliance with relevant requirements.
• Communicate with banks, auditors, and other external parties.
• Provide general administrative support and perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
