Job summary

Hollysys- is seeking a capable finance professional to oversee daily accounting functions, manage project costing, and ensure GST/VAT and corporate tax compliance in a dynamic environment.

The role supports budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, with exposure to group consolidation and audits. Singapore/Malaysia experience and a degree in accounting are preferred.

Qualifications

• Full set of accounts experience with local standards and tax rules.
• GST/Withholding tax experience considered an advantage.
• Experience handling project costing and cost control.
• Experience in Singapore and Malaysia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting: AR/AP, GL, revenue recognition, cashflow management.
• Review POC revenue, monitor project turnaround time and costs.
• Analyze cost drivers and project costing impact.
• Support period-end close and financial reporting processes.
• Consolidate group financials and ensure internal controls.
• Provide financial insights for budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
• Coordinate overseas finance requirements and audit matters.
• Manage tax filings: GST/VAT, withholding tax, corporate tax.
• Ensure statutory filings are timely and accurate.
• Undertake special assignments as needed.

Job description

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts receivable/payable, general ledger, cost accounting, revenue recognition, cashflow/working capital management
• Review and ensure accurate calculation of POC revenue, monitor and analyse project turnaround time
• Monitor and analyse cost drivers and their impact on project costing
• Support period end financial close processes, including preparation and review of relevant financial information
• Perform financial consolidation for the group of companies
• Support the Head of Finance in maintaining compliance with financial reporting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with the Head of Finance to provide financial insights for management reporting, which include budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis
• Support overseas finance requirements where applicable
• Manage both internal and external audit related matters
• Manage tax-related matters, including GST/VAT, Withholding Tax, and Corporate Income Tax filings
• Ensure all statutory filings are completed accurately and within deadlines
• Undertake special assignments and project requirements as needed.

Requirements：

• Min. Degree in Accountancy and/or ACCA/CPA equivalent
• Able to handle full set accounts and in-depth knowledge of local accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
• Experience in project costing is a must
• Preferably with working experience at both Singapore and Malaysia
• Experience in GST and withholding tax is an added advantage
• Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
• Good ERP knowledge
• Problem-solver, resourceful and organised to support and enable efficient and effective decision-making amongst stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
• Immediate availability or ability to start work within a short period is advantageous.
