Job summary

IAQ ENGINEERING (SG) PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a skilled finance professional to manage accounting for project-based operations. You will handle full sets of accounts, month-end close, and financial reporting, including variance analysis.

Responsibilities cover project costing, revenue recognition, ERP migration support, and tax/compliance, with emphasis on liaising with project managers and audits. Degree holder with 5 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years working experience.
• Experience handling full sets of accounts independently.

• Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis.
• Perform general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and BS account reconciliations.
• Track project costs, revenue recognition, and project profitability.
• Support tax, statutory compliance, audits, and ERP/migration testing.
• Experience in engineering, construction, facilities management, or project-based industries.
• Familiarity with project costing and revenue recognition.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Maintainfull sets of accounts and ensure timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Preparemonthly management accounts, financial reports, and variance analysis.
• Performgeneral ledger maintenance, journal entries, and BS account reconciliations.

Project Accounting & Cost Control

• Trackproject costs, revenue recognition, and project profitability.
• Supportproject managers with budget monitoring and cost analysis.
• Assistin tender costing and project financial reporting.

Tax & Statutory Compliance

• Prepareand submit GST returns.
• Ensurecompliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Supportannual statutory audit and corporate tax filing processes.

ERP/SystemMigration & Financial Data Reconciliation

• Support theimplementation and migration of accounting and finance systems, including datavalidation and user testing.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepanciesarising from system migration activities.

Preferred Experience

• Experiencein engineering, construction, facilities management, or project-basedindustries.
• Familiaritywith project costing and revenue recognition
