Job summary

greyform pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior Accounts Executive to support the Accountant and oversee daily Finance operations in Singapore.

You will ensure compliance with company and government policies while handling daily accounting tasks and month-end close. The role requires a Diploma in Accountancy/ACCA and at least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience, with manufacturing exposure considered an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience in accounting.
• Manufacturing industry experience is an advantage.
• IT savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage daily AR, AP, GL and intercompany transactions.
• Responsible for intercompany transactions and reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly accrual and amortization entries.
• Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules including fixed assets, AR/AP aging, inventory, WIP, and reconcile sub-ledgers to GL.
• Prepare cash forecast and ensure healthy cash-flow.
• Ensure timeliness and completeness of data entries.
• Assist auditors on required documents.
• Assist in Budget and Forecast preparation.
• Prepare monthly close journal entries including sales adjustments.
• Support Accountant in other ad-hoc projects.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Overview

As a Senior Accounts Executive, you will assist the Accountant in all aspects of statutory as well as oversee the daily operation of the Finance department and ensure all accounting documents are compliance with the Company and Government’s policies and standards.

Responsibilities

1. Process and manage daily AR, AP, GL and intercompany transactions
2. Responsible for intercompany transaction (AR/AP) and reconciliation
3. Prepare monthly accrual and amortization entries
4. Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules including fixed assets register, AR aging, AP aging, inventory, WIP and ensure schedules and sub-ledgers are reconciled to the GL
5. Prepare cash forecast and ensure healthy cash-flow
6. Ensure timeliness and completeness of data entries
7. Assist internal and external auditors on all the documents required
8. Assist Accountant in preparation of Budget and Forecast
9. Prepare monthly close journal entries including sales adjustment journal entries
10. Support Accountant in other ad-hoc projects
11. Liaise with internal and external auditors
12. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and the designated manager.

Requirements

1. Diploma in Accountancy / ACCA or equivalent.
2. At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in accounting
3. Prior experience in Manufacturing Industry will be advantageous.
4. IT savvy with proficient in Microsoft Office application.
