Job summary

Excelitas Technologies Corp. in Singapore is seeking a Technical Documentation Specialist on a 9-month contract to develop and standardize SOPs and work instructions for ultra-clean semiconductor manufacturing.

You will coordinate with assembly engineers, QA, EHS and other SMEs to validate content, embed visual controls, and ensure training and audit readiness across the documentation portfolio.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Experience in manufacturing with process documentation, SOP/WI development and quality systems.
• Familiarity with GDP, document control and cross-functional collaboration is preferred.
• Ability to translate complex processes into clear SOPs/WIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design process workflows for semiconductor manufacturing environments.
• Establish a master register of SOPs/WIs with owners, revisions and training needs.
• Review legacy documents for obsolescence and inconsistencies.
• Convert SOPs/WIs into approved templates and controlled formats.
• Standardize structure, revision history, approvals and records.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, EHS and other SMEs to validate content.
• Embed visual controls: photos, diagrams, flowcharts, equipment screenshots.
• Coordinate reviews, revisions, approvals, releases and archival of superseded versions.
• Prepare training-impact assessments and retraining requirements.
• Track progress, overdue actions and risks via weekly dashboard.
• Support internal audit readiness and traceability of released documents.
• Produce documents for design, DFMEA and regulatory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001/14001/13485/AS9100D and related standards.
