Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Assistant Engineer/Engineer to maintain security systems at customer sites. You will ensure faults are rectified per SLA, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and coordinate with sub-contractors and clients to meet uptime targets.

The role requires at least 2 years in maintenance within the security systems field, the ability to work standby after hours, and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in maintenance, preferably physical security systems.
• Able to standby for fault recalls after hours on rotation.
• Knowledge of security/server/network equipment is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and customer communication skills.
• Ability to work quickly under pressure and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform route Preventive Maintenance, patching and updates of the system.
• Provide Corrective Maintenance for frontend devices such as access control readers, controllers, CCTV.
• Responsible for deployed system functionalities and working condition at all times.
• Perform fault rectifications, software enhancement, bug fixes, testing and commissioning to meet contractual requirements.
• Work as a team to support operations, ensure optimum uptime and achieve KPIs.
• Collate reports and checklists of PM works for billing and CM reports for filing.
• Prepare/update service checklists.
• Monitor spare parts availability to meet downtime and monitor EOL/EOS of equipment.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and customers on site matters, work schedule and quality of work.
• Support Contract administration works (Ordering, billing milestones, O&M submission, Operation Manual submission, maintenance checklist and asset list).
• Assist A&A work/ VO work for sites during maintenance cycle.
• Perform other job responsibilities as and when assigned.
