Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking a proactive Maintenance Assistant Engineer to support maintenance and servicing of security systems at customer sites.

You will ensure system reliability, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and resolve technical issues in line with SLAs. The role involves coordinating with the operations team, preparing maintenance reports, managing spare parts, and supporting contract administration.

Qualifications

Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Information Technology.
Minimum 2 years of maintenance services experience, preferably in security systems.
Willing to participate in after-office-hours standby duty on a rotational basis.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with good communication.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, including system patching, software updates, and inspections.
Carry out corrective maintenance for access control, CCTV, controllers, and frontend devices.
Ensure deployed systems remain operational and optimized at all times.
Troubleshoot faults, implement enhancements, test and commission to meet SLAs.
Coordinate with customers and subcontractors on schedules and site activities.
Prepare maintenance and corrective reports, checklists, and asset documentation.
Monitor spare parts inventory to minimise downtime and support maintenance.
Track EOL/EOS status and recommend replacement plans where necessary.
Assist with A&A works, VO projects, and contract administration tasks.
