Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a proactive Maintenance Assistant Engineer to support maintenance and servicing of security systems at customer sites.

You will ensure system reliability, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and resolve technical issues to meet SLAs. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, coordination with customers and subcontractors, reporting, and assisting with O&M documentation and asset management.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ IT or related engineering field.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in physical security systems.
• Project implementation experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with security systems, servers, and networking equipment.
• Willing to participate in after-hours standby duty on a rotation.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, including patching, software updates, and inspections.
• Carry out corrective maintenance for access control, CCTV, controllers and frontend devices.
• Ensure deployed systems remain operational and optimal.
• Troubleshoot faults, apply software enhancements, and conduct testing.
• Coordinate with operations, customers and subcontractors on schedules.
• Prepare maintenance reports and service checklists for documentation and billing.
• Monitor spare parts to minimise downtime and support maintenance.
• Assist with A&A works and VO projects during maintenance cycles.
