Job summary

TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Maintenance Assistant Engineer to support the maintenance and operation of security and IT-related systems at customer sites.

The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, fault troubleshooting, and coordinating with customers and subcontractors on site activities. The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Engineering and has at least 2 years of experience in maintenance.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline, preferably Electrical or IT.
• At least 2 years of experience in maintenance or a related technical environment.
• Experience with security systems or project-related work will be an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of security systems, servers or networking will be an advantage.
• Good communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to be on standby for after-hours fault calls on a rotational basis.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of security systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and rectify system faults and technical issues.
• Support the maintenance of equipment such as CCTV, access control systems and related devices.
• Carry out system testing, updates and basic troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with customers and subcontractors on site activities and maintenance schedules.
• Prepare maintenance reports, checklists and related documentation.
• Monitor spare parts and equipment status.
• Support system improvement and maintenance-related projects when required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
