LF Logistics Services Pte Ltd is seeking a Security Supervisor to lead day-to-day security operations at the Benoi Distribution Centre in Singapore. You will oversee access control, CCTV, screening and ensure compliance with Maersk standards, TAPA and C-TPAT, while managing contracted security personnel.

Responsibilities include incident management, vendor performance, audits, and risk management, plus coordinating VIP visits and events.

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of supervisory experience in security operations.
• Valid PLRD Security Licence and Security Supervisor certification.
• Familiarity with CCTV and electronic security systems.
• Experience with audits, investigations, and vendor management.
• Knowledge of Singapore Customs and security compliance is beneficial.

The Security Supervisor is responsible for leading day‑to‑day security operations at the Distribution Centre, ensuring a safe, compliant, and secure environment for people, assets, cargo, and critical operations. This role oversees the performance of contracted security personnel, manages the command-and-control functions onsite, and ensures adherence to Maersk Global Security requirements and recognised industry standards (e.g., TAPA, C‑TPAT).

Responsibilities:

1. Security Operations & Command Centre Leadership

• Lead daily site security operations and command centre activities

• Oversee access control, CCTV, screening, and security systems to ensure operational readiness

• Coordinate with security vendors on priorities, incident reviews, and perimeter security compliance

2. Vendor Performance Management

• Ensure adequate security manpower coverage and operational continuity

• Monitor vendor performance, competency, and compliance with licensing and site SOP requirements

• Provide coaching and corrective actions where necessary

3. Incident Management & Reporting

• Lead incident response, preliminary investigations, evidence preservation, and reporting

• Escalate significant incidents in line with Maersk and customer requirements

• Maintain accurate incident records, audit trails, and regulatory reporting where required

4. Compliance, Audit & Risk Management

• Conduct security audits, inspections, and risk assessments

• Ensure compliance with Maersk standards, TAPA, C‑TPAT, and customer requirements

• Maintain audit readiness, documentation integrity, and continuous risk mitigation

5. Visitor, Contractor & Event Security Coordination

• Manage security arrangements for VIP visits, customer events, and peak operational periods

• Coordinate crowd control, traffic management, and emergency access planning

• Support emergency preparedness, business continuity, and security drills

6. Continuous Improvement & SOP Governance

• Review and enhance security SOPs, processes, and technologies

• Drive security training, capability development, and process improvements

• Promote security awareness and embed security considerations into operational decision-making

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of supervisory experience in security operations, preferably within logistics, warehousing, or industrial environments

• Valid PLRD Security Licence and Security Supervisor certification

• WSQ PWM Security Supervisor qualifications preferred

• Strong knowledge of CCTV, electronic security systems, and command centre operations

• Familiarity with TAPA, C‑TPAT, and local security compliance requirements is an advantage

• Experience in audits, investigations, vendor management, and security operations

• Proven track record in implementing technology-driven security improvements and cost optimization initiatives

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Analytical with the ability to assess risks and implement practical solutions

• Experience in emergency response, crisis management, or business continuity planning is an advantage

• Ex-SPF/SAF background and knowledge of Singapore Customs requirements are beneficial
