Job summary

The ITSEC Group is seeking a Cybersecurity Operations Engineer to support ongoing security operations in Singapore. You will monitor security events, investigate incidents, and coordinate remediation with multiple internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities include vulnerability management, risk register upkeep, and producing routine security reports. The role requires readiness for standby duty to respond to high-priority incidents outside normal hours.

Qualifications

• Proficient with security tools such as Splunk (SIEM), CyberArk (PAM), Trellix (endpoint protection), and VMware Carbon Black (EDR).
• Strong log analysis, incident investigation, and account privilege review processes.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management, VAPT processes, and risk register maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Security Monitoring & Review: perform regular account and log reviews; investigate alerts and anomalies.
• Incident & Query Handling: follow up on security incidents and queries; coordinate responses with IT teams and tenants.
• Vulnerability & Compliance Management: assist in remediation activities; maintain the risk register; support VAPT follow-ups.
• Stakeholder Coordination: liaise with multiple teams to ensure timely resolution of security issues; provide status updates.
