Job summary

Ley Choon Group Holdings Ltd is seeking a Security Officer to support site safety and security at our Singapore location. You will perform patrols, monitor CCTV, manage access points, and respond to incidents to safeguard company premises and assets.

The ideal candidate holds a valid PLRD security licence and has at least 3 years of relevant security experience, with strong observation and communication skills for emergency situations.

Qualifications

• Minimum N Level, O Level, or equivalent.
• Valid Security (PLRD) licence is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in security operations, including guardhouse or site-based roles.
• Good understanding of safety and security procedures and protocols.
• Strong observation skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to respond calmly and appropriately in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain order and a visible security presence.
• Monitor CCTV surveillance systems to detect and respond to suspicious or unlawful activities.
• Respond promptly to alarms and investigate incidents to ensure safety and security.
• Control access points and secure the premises, ensuring only authorised entry to the site.
• Report irregularities, security breaches, and potential risks to prevent loss or damage to company property.
• Prepare and submit clear, accurate incident and activity reports.
• Enforce company security policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Respond to emergencies and support incident management as required.
• Perform any other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Head of Department (HOD).
