Job summary

Have Fun Orchard Pte Ltd is seeking a Security Officer to oversee crowd movement and ensure safe capacity limits at live events in Singapore. You will monitor entry points, manage queues, and respond to disruptions while maintaining a welcoming, professional presence.

The role requires a valid Private Security License and at least 1 year of experience in physical security or high-volume events. You will coordinate with emergency services as needed and document incidents accurately.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Private Security License issued by the Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD).
• At least 1 year of experience in physical security or high-volume public/events.

• Facilitate crowd flow, monitor congestion points, manage queues, and ensure safe capacity limits.

• Manage access control at entry/exit points.

• Conduct regular physical patrols of the venue's perimeter and monitor CCTV feeds and alarm systems in real time.

• Manage disruptive guests and de-escalate any conflict that may arise.

• Act as a first responder during medical emergencies, fire alarms, power outages, or security threats. Coordinate directly with local law enforcement, fire departments, or medical staff if needed.

• Document all disturbances, injuries, property damage, or policy violations accurately in detailed, written incident logs.

• Act as a welcoming, professional point of contact for guests by providing directions and answering safety questions.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid Private Security License issued by the Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD).

• At least 1 year of experience in physical security, law enforcement, or high-volume public/entertainment events.
