Job summary

OCBC Management Services is offering an internship in Singapore within Global Markets, focusing on Securities Finance operations. You will support daily activities, monitor events, and help implement automation for efficiency in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• Programming or automation skills would be advantageous.
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or postgraduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Securities Operations Support: assist with the creation and maintenance of instrument labels within internal systems and track requests through to successful completion.
• Corporate Actions Monitoring: monitor corporate action and dividend events, and support the management of securities lending restrictions arising from these events.
• Fee Reconciliation: perform reconciliations of fee accruals and assist in investigating and resolving discrepancies.
• Margin Management Support: monitor daily margin call activities and assist in ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Process Automation: identify opportunities to automate manual processes and support the development of solutions that improve efficiency and operational effectiveness.
• Reporting & Analysis: assist in preparing operational reports, tracking metrics, and analysing data to support decision-making.
• Presentation & Documentation: prepare presentation materials, meeting minutes, and documentation to support team discussions and stakeholder engagement.
• Ad-hoc Projects: provide support on operational, technology, and process improvement initiatives as assigned
