Job summary

OCBC Singapore is offering a Strategy, Planning & Finance Intern role within Global Markets. You’ll gain exposure to financial analytics, business intelligence, and performance management, collaborating with stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights and enhance reporting capabilities.

You’ll develop dashboard design, data integration, and automation skills using Tableau, Python, SQL, VBA, and Excel.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Curious about finance, business performance, and data analytics.
• Able to work with large datasets and extract insights.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Familiar with programming concepts; basic knowledge of VBA, Python or SQL.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or similar.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree.

Responsibilities

• Business Intelligence & Reporting: support the development and enhancement of dashboards that provide insights into financial and business performance across Global Markets.
• Data Integration: assist in consolidating data from multiple sources to create automated, accurate, and scalable reporting solutions.
• Performance Analytics: analyse P&L and business performance data to support management reviews and decision-making.
• Dashboard Development: design and enhance interactive dashboards that enable department heads to monitor metrics and trends.
• Process Automation: identify opportunities to automate reporting processes and improve efficiency.
• Data Management: support data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks for reporting accuracy.
• Stakeholder Engagement: collaborate with business and finance stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
• Ad-hoc Projects: support strategic initiatives and reporting enhancements.
