Job summary

AMA FREIGHT (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD. is seeking a logistics professional to coordinate seafreight/import-export shipments, prepare documents, and liaise with lines for quotes.

You will deliver strong customer service as the main client contact and support airfreight activities as needed. Ideal candidates bring 2–3 years in logistics or freight forwarding, solid knowledge of seafreight/airfreight processes, and proficiency with logistics software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a logistics or freight forwarding role.
• Knowledge of seafreight or airfreight processes, documentation and regulations.
• Proficient with logistics software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process seafreight shipments import and export, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
• Prepare and process invoices, packing lists and bills of lading.
• Liaise with shipping lines and providers to obtain quotations.
• Provide exceptional customer service and be the primary client contact.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Maintain accurate records and provide shipment status reports.
• Assist in airfreight import and export operations.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinate and process seafreight shipments import and export, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all relevant regulations

• Prepare and process all necessary documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading

• Liaise with shipping lines, and other logistics providers to get quotations

• Provide exceptional customer service and act as the primary point of contact for clients

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings

• Maintain accurate records and provide detailed reports on shipment status and performance

• Able to assist in airfreight import and export operations

What we're looking for

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar logistics or freight forwarding role and able to use sysfreight

• Strong knowledge of either seafreight and airfreight processes, documentation, and regulations

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise with clients and shipping partners

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Proficient in using logistics management software and Microsoft Office applications

• A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
