Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in Singapore seeks an Offshore Freight Handler to manage end-to-end shipment movements, ensure timely execution, and maintain accurate system records.

You will interact with carriers, customers, and internal teams to optimize routing, documentation, and compliance while supporting a paperless workflow and a collaborative, customer-focused culture at DSV.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask across multiple shipments and systems.
• Excellent written and spoken English; fluency in local language preferred.
• Proven professional communication etiquette.
• Strong PC skills on Windows; typing 30 WPM minimum.
• Comfort under pressure with accurate, detail-oriented work.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Activate and create shipments in the system and keep updates.
• Coordinate with carriers and vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track shipments and confirm arrival statuses in the system.
• Handle documentation with customs brokers as applicable.
• Provide accurate and timely communications to customers and teams.
• Resolve invoicing disputes with vendors and internal teams.
• Support process improvements and digitisation efforts.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and customer KPIs.
