Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation in Singapore seeks a SEA Business Manager for Engineered Polymer to own the P&L for Estane in SEA and lead all commercial activities, including strategy, accounts, and distributor management, to grow Engineering Polymers and Medical Solutions in Southeast Asia.

You will develop strategic plans, expand market presence, negotiate contracts, and mentor teams while collaborating cross‑functionally to drive growth and market leadership in the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related major (MBA is a plus).
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in chemistry industry; polymer industry preferred.
• Proven experience in business management with a focus on commercial activities in SEA.
• Strong strategic planning and execution skills with the ability to drive business growth.
• Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in handling administrative duties.
• Ability to navigate multicultural environments and communicate with global teams.
• Entrepreneurial, positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluent English; other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own Revenue and Profitability objectives for EP&MS business in SEA.
• Develop and implement account plans aligned with business strategies for customers in existing market segments.
• Expand and manage business operations for assigned accounts and territories.
• Cultivate and manage relationships with distributors and key accounts, building customer rapport.
• Lead growth initiatives and facilitate the introduction of new products within the business.
• Develop, negotiate, and close sales contracts and agreements with favorable terms.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key processors and players in market segments.
• Keep up with market and consumer trends, identifying new opportunities and routes to markets.
• Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance to enhance capability.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
