Qualifications

• Ph.D. degree in Stem Cells / Diabetes / Pancreas / Beta Cell / Metabolism or equivalent.
• Good publication track record.
• Experience with mammalian stem cell culture and differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells.
• Molecular biology techniques proficiency.
• Genome editing (CRISPR-Cas9) experience valued.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Motivated, able to work flexible hours and in a research team.
• Ability to multitask and work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Experience in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation, RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, Mass Spec and bioinformatics valued.

A Postdoctoral Fellow / Scientist position is immediately available at the Stem Cells and Diabetes Laboratory, IMCB, A*STAR, Singapore. A/P Adrian Teo’s laboratory is interested in leveraging on human stem cell technology and human in vitro models to study mechanisms underlying diabetes and metabolic diseases. Qualifications / Requirements

• Ph.D. degree in Stem Cells / Diabetes / Pancreas / Beta Cell / Metabolism disciplines or equivalent, awarded by an internationally recognized institution
• A good publication track record
• Extensive experience with mammalian stem cell culture, differentiation of human pluripotent stem cells and molecular biology techniques
• Experience with genome-editing techniques such as the CRISPR-Cas9 system will be valued
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Highly motivated, passion for science, committed to laboratory work and able to work flexible hours
• Ability to multitask, work independently and also as part of a team
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
• Experience in Flow Cytometry, Immunoprecipitation techniques, RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, Mass Spectrometry and bioinformatics will be valued
