Job Description

• Lead the Scientific Affairs workstream of a major business separation and transformation programme, covering Regulatory, Medical, Pharmacovigilance and Quality Assurance.
• Develop and drive integrated project plans, timelines, dependencies, critical paths and risk mitigation actions to ensure successful delivery.
• Lead the transition from existing shared-service arrangements into sustainable standalone Scientific Affairs processes, systems and operating capabilities.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Scientific Affairs, technology, supply chain, finance and other corporate functions to manage programme dependencies.
• Manage external vendors, specialist advisers and delivery partners, ensuring clear accountability against agreed scope, milestones and outcomes.
• Establish strong programme governance including RAID management, decision tracking, budget oversight, executive reporting and Steering Committee updates.
• Support future strategic initiatives including acquisitions, integrations, carve-outs and other business transformation programmes.

The Successful Applicant

• Proven track record leading complex business transformation, separation, integration or large-scale transition programmes.
• Strong experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences or another highly regulated environment.
• Sound understanding of GxP environments and the operational considerations associated with regulated business processes.
• Strong programme and project management capabilities, including governance, risk management, dependency management and executive reporting.
• Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors, service providers, consultants or system implementation partners.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across senior leadership, functional teams and external partners.
