Job summary

MRG Global is seeking an experienced Regional Operations Director to lead and grow APAC operations from Singapore. You will drive regional delivery of complex engineering projects, manage client relationships, and oversee P&L performance across Southeast Asia and Greater China.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of delivering CAPEX projects in Life Sciences or High-Tech sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering major CAPEX projects in Life Sciences or High-Tech.
• Proven experience leading regional operations across APAC.
• Experience managing operations, commercial performance and P&L.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management; Singapore/Southeast Asia experience preferred.

Our client is seeking an experienced Regional Operations Director to lead and grow their APAC operations from Singapore. The business is a global engineering consultancy specialising in Life Sciences, High-Tech and advanced manufacturing projects across the region.

This position will be responsible for regional operations, business growth, project delivery and team leadership across Southeast Asia and Greater China.

Responsibilities:

• Lead regional operations across APAC and oversee delivery of complex engineering and project management service
• Drive business development and manage key client relationships across the Life Sciences and High-Tech sectors
• Oversee regional project performance including budget, programme, quality and safety
• Support regional growth and expansion plans across Southeast Asia and Greater China
• Lead and develop teams across multiple office locations
• Manage commercial performance, proposals and operational planning
• Work closely with APAC and Global leadership teams to support business objectives and growth strategies

Requirements:

• Strong background delivering major CAPEX projects within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor, Data Centre or other High-Tech sectors
• Proven experience leading regional operations, project delivery and client relationships across APAC
• Experience managing business operations, commercial performance and P&L responsibilities
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Previous experience working across Singapore and Southeast Asia preferred
• Degree qualified in Engineering, Construction or related discipline
