Job summary

MAXHUNT RESOURCE PTE. LTD. is recruiting staff for North Vista Primary School in Singapore to support Science labs, Makerspace, and general administrative tasks.

The role includes preparing experiments, maintaining lab equipment, managing hydroponics facilities, and assisting in science workshops. Applicants with at least an O Level and basic IT skills, plus school experience, are preferred; those with related skills will also be considered.

Qualifications

• O Level qualification and basic knowledge of IT applications (e.g. MS Word and Excel).
• Able to multi-task and handle a fast-paced environment.
• Preferably 3+ years of working experience in a school environment with basic knowledge of laboratory, chemicals and apparatus.
• Candidates without relevant school experience but with comparable skills will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare experimental setups for all lab activities and trial experiments prior to Science lessons and CCA.
• Prepare additional apparatus and assist during Science Workshops.
• Assist with purchasing materials for experiments in line with budget.
• Maintain cleanliness of Science Labs and conduct stock-taking of apparatus and resources twice a year.
• Maintain lab logbooks for class entries and for broken/condemned equipment.
• Prepare Hydroponics/Urban Farming facilities and assist in maintenance of Science Ecological Gardens and Aquariums.
• Prepare materials and tools for Makerspace recess activities and workshops; manage Makerspace equipment.
• Provide technical support and maintain a safe, organized Makerspace environment.
• Assist in miscellaneous administrative school matters and support other departments/events as needed.
