Job summary

GREENSAFE INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD. is hiring a lab technician to prepare and support Science/Maths practical lessons and Makerspace sessions in our facilities in Singapore. You will set up, maintain, and secure equipment, assist with risk assessments, and manage inventories and supplier quotations with attention to detail.

The role emphasizes meticulous lab upkeep, accuracy in record-keeping, and effective communication with staff and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Must have suitable educational background as stated (O level or equivalent) and basic digital literacy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaboration with staff and vendors.
• Precise planning, meticulous attention to detail, and safe, orderly lab practices are required.
• Proficiency in MS Office for admin tasks and record keeping.
• At least 2 years of relevant laboratory or Makerspace experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and clear apparatus and materials for Science/Maths practical lessons and Makerspace sessions.
• Provide technical support; assist with risk assessments.
• Keep labs, prep room, and Makerspace clean, safe, organised, and secure.
• Maintain scientific instruments and ensure supplies are accessible.
• Assist with resource establishment, maintenance, stock-taking, and reordering.
• Arrange maintenance and repair of equipment; upkeep records and logs.
• Perform admin tasks – maintain inventory, prepare labels/posters, liaise with vendors for quotations.
• Operate and maintain basic office equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
