Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services Pte Ltd is seeking a School Science Lab Assistant in Singapore to support daily lessons and practical assessments. You will prepare materials, set up equipment, and assist teachers during demonstrations, ensuring safe handling of chemicals and proper waste disposal.

The role runs for one year with potential extension, requiring basic science knowledge, a clean safety record, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• GCE O-Level with passes in Science subjects or Nitec/Higher Nitec in a Science-related discipline.
• Basic knowledge of scientific apparatus and laboratory procedures.
• Able to handle reagents and simple experimental setups.
• Prior school laboratory experience is advantageous; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Responsible, safety-conscious and organised.
• Good communication skills and able to work independently.
• Physically fit and willing to learn.

Duration/Working Hours:

1 year - subj to extension of 1 year (Dec 2026 to Nov 2027)

Services NOT required for the following period:

a) 1 Dec 2026 to 27 Dec 2026 b) 31 May 2027 to 23 Jun 2027

a) 1 Dec 2027 to 27 Dec 2027b) 29 May 2028 to 21 Jun 2028

Mondays to Fridays: 7:15am to 2.15 pm, inclusive of 0.5 hr meal break.
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
