Nanyang Junior College seeks a capable Laboratory Support staff to perform routine lab maintenance and support STEM instructors. Responsibilities include opening/locking labs, cleaning spaces and equipment, and preparing apparatus and reagents for practical sessions.

The role prefers candidates with primary education and some English literacy, and previous science lab experience at a junior college. Flexible work hours apply during exams, with holidays on Saturdays/Sundays and public holidays.

Name of Authority: Nanyang Junior College

Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 1 January 2027.

Option period: 1 January 2028 to 31 December 2028.

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:

• Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays: 8:00am to 5:15pm; Wednesdays: 8:00am to 4:45pm. Each day includes a 45-minute lunch break.
• If a 30-minute lunch break is preferred, daily working hours end 15 minutes earlier.
• During examinations, reporting at 7:00am may be required, with time off for additional hours.
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.

Requirements:
