Job summary

Seacare Manpower Services is seeking a capable individual to assist teachers with Science lab setup, experiments, lesson materials and equipment, and to support general office duties. The role requires organising lab resources, maintaining safety, and handling reception and enquiries from students and parents.

Candidates should be able to work independently or in a team, with good communication skills and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience in a school environment or lab/administrative role is preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with Science lab setup, experiments, lesson materials and equipment.
• Organise, monitor and maintain lab equipment and resources, ensuring proper safety practices.
• Support General Office duties including reception, visitor management, mail/courier handling and attending to basic student/parent enquiries.
• Assist with document/material sorting, packing, labelling and office inventory.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the General Office and pantry areas.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Preferably 1 year of experience in a school environment, receptionist or Science Lab Technical Officer role.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently and in a team.
• Able to communicate and write in English.

Duration/Working hours:

1 year contract (Option to extend another year) (Jan 2026 to Dec 2027)

Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:30pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch
break
Fridays: 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of 1hr lunch break
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public
holidays
